Volcanic eruption in the kitchen

Last night saw me complete my Apothecary badge as I made something that wasn't on the list. I'd been gifted a bathbomb kit and Julie and I decided to make this one together.

We were time limited and wisely used a big chunk of it chatting and eating chocolate. There was absolutely no time to scrutinise the instructions before starting so we knew that we'd be hoofing it, at best.

We quickly discovered that we didn't have a spray bottle and Julie soon discovered why turning the tap on over her mix wasn't a reasonable exchange for "finely misting". There was no "damp sand" but a full on lava experience. It was bright green, overly minted and just kept coming. Our hoofing rapidly descended into a total cockwomble.

It was worth it for the pure comedy of Julie's face as she tried to coerce her mix into the mould and watched it ooze out.

Several yards of cling film later, she took the still-oozing mass home as a gift for her long-suffering husband.

The pink, rose-scented bombs were almost disappointing in as much as they turned into a thing but didn't make us laugh!
