Personalised notebooks

Some time back, I asked the bestie if she had any ideas for leaving presents for some of my colleagues.
Fast forward a few weeks and we spent a few hours in her well-equipped but sauna-like cabin fashioning personalised notebooks using her cricut machine. It's a very clever cutting machine, set-up via some incomprehensible (to me) technology.
I started with a smaller test project, making Van Stuff for my partner and I. Happy with that, I moved onto the larger notebooks. I opted not to place the text centrally to the cover but central to the area left of the elastic.
I say I, but this wouldn't have happened without Julie!
I'm going to count this towards homemade gifts for Conscious Consumer, though the books themselves were bough from Tesco. They were inexpensive, despite being decent quality. I jokingly said to Julie that nicking her vinyl made them even cheaper to me. Had I bought a roll of vinyl, these books would have been much cheaper than if I'd had them made.
Fingers crossed they go down well with my friends at work.
