Back on 22nd March, I started a blog in order to be able to award myself the Writer badge. Frankly, all the other options seemed much too hard. Not that I really knew what a blog was.

I decided to make the blog purely about my RBC adventures and to share it within the group. I've never done anything like it before and have had technical difficulties galore. Just as I think I'm getting better, something goes wrong.

I set myself the challenge to write an average of two blogs per week over the six-month period and I've met that target. Luckily, I didn't set a challenge around the number of views, because there are some posts that I don't think even I have read.

My posts are pretty much a diary of my badge work (watch out for me shouting that I've completed Diarist next!) and I'm surprised at how mainstream they are, dull even. I am quite funny by nature but I don't think that comes through in my blog. I'm not sure there is much personality at all. I'm also reining in my natural use of Anglo Saxon and that may be why. Who knows?

In the end, I decided to follow my other passion - natural skincare and essential oils, and set up Wild As The Wind, back in 2017.

Wild As The Wind has thankfully been a real success story. (Who says doing what you love won't pay the bills?) Wild As The Wind now offers one…
