Epoxy resin

The bestie and I did an over-priced workshop to learn how to do epoxy resin. The course was very technical-leaning, whereas I am far more interested in shape and colour.
We made a mould, sealed with masses of hot glue, before mixing the resin and hardener and adding colour. I used a lot of liquid colour for a more transparent effect and added shimmer. It really wasn't that complicated but our dreary tutor droned on and tried to make it sound very difficult. I realise that's very subjective!
One week later and it arrived in the post. I think it looked a lot more interesting before it cured. I need to decide whether to leave it there or get my bloke to teach me how to use a router etc.
