"Designer" garment

There is nothing "designer" about the garment (or me, for that matter!) but I enjoyed making it.
I used Tilly and The Buttons' Stevie for this make. The patterns aren't the cheapest but they are really good quality and the instructions are great - clearly written with colour photos, presented as a little booklet.

I wasn't mad keen on my fabric in the end (there's a pattern developing here!). In fact, I wished I'd chosen pattern rather than plain. Mainly, I wish I'd chosen something less liable to fraying, as I had to do a lot of very dreary zigzagging.

It's all rather plain, reminiscent of a GG camp dress, with cuffed sleeves and a pocket.
The bestie came to the rescue with a lovely glazed ceramic button. The button closure is at the back so not wildly visible, but I'll know it's there, even if nobody else notices.
In terms of process, I definitely learnt a trick or two and I think this is a pattern I will use again.
