Designer 🤣🤣

Firstly, this should stand as a warning - ordering fabric online is a risky business. I thought I'd ordered a fresh, green jersey rather than the awful acid green that landed on my doorstep. It's very reminiscent of the drapes used in the recent life drawing class I went to (the model had decorated her naked body with neon paints and the room was lit by fluroscent lamps- mad but fun).
This is definitely not my colour so I decided to make something for someone else. The Designer badge calls for an item of clothing made from a pattern for a child so I found a PDF, printed cut and glued it together. Cutting the fabric was nice, as the small size was easy to deal with. However, stitching something so small was really challenging.
I quite like sewing with jersey as it's quite forgiving but the margin for error in such a tiny size negated that advantage and this was really a bit of a cockwomble. I finished it but the quality is so appalling that I won't insult anyone by offering it to them!

The fabric was wider than I thought and this teeny t-shirt has used very little of it. I may have to head to Shoreditch for a cocktail in a dodgy bar with a life drawing class in the back room and accidentally leave it there.
