Craft Badge - silver pendant

I've used silver clay before and made a couple of things I'm quite pleased with, so I was really excited to try something new. My partner bought me a little kit for a moulded piece and I already had the tools for the job so I was good to go.
First up I had to knead the two compounds for the putty and press onto my shell. Twenty minutes later and I prised the shell out of the mould and left it to go off a bit more.
Having lightly greased my mould, I rolled out my clay and pressed it into the mould, trimming the excess. A bit more waiting required before de-moulding to see what I had. It wasn't perfect but I went ahead and fired it. I love the immediacy of firing with my little butane torch and love it how the fragile clay transforms into strong silver in just a few minutes.
A bit of burnishing and polishing later and there it is, a perfectly imperfect shell pendant. Not sure I'd have coughed up for it if I'd seen it in a shop but I'll wear it.
