Final clause for my reader badge and the one I'd not been looking forward to. I love to read but I'm not keen on analysing what I've read or sharing thoughts. It takes me back to the hideous dissection of books in secondary school. I prefer my reading to remain a solitary, private affair.
But I also love a badge!

First up, I waited for a Rebel Book Club subject that sounded interesting. As recommended, I bought a hard copy as the book has photos. I'm so glad I did, as there are photos from packs near where I grew up, which was lovely to see. I really enjoyed the book, though it took ages to read (the font is tiny so I could only read it in good light).
It was a long read but pretty interesting, despite a few niggles, writing style-wise. As for the Book Club, it was surprisingly enjoyable and I will definitely look out for upcoming dates. My thanks to everyone who organised it.

I think that this is a book that I will read - I just need to buy it! I’M currently reading a biography of Agatha Christie, and it seems to have taken me a couple of months to get through it. I used to be an avid reader, but these days I tend to read when I go to bed, and after a couple of pages I struggle to stay a week. I can only assume it is because I’m now filling my days with so many other activities 😁
